JOB TITLE: RESPONSE TO INTERVENTION SPECIALIST
Summary: Under the direction of the Head of School, the RTI Specialist will support teachers in the continuous improvement process in reading and/or mathematics. The RTI Specialist will lead multiple interventions in and outside of the elementary grade classrooms.
JOB TITLE: TEACHER ASSISTANT
Summary: Provides instructional support to students under the direct supervision of a teacher.
JOB TITLE: STUDENT SUPPORT COORDINATOR
Summary: Under the direction of the Head of School, the Student Support Coordinator will provide primary support in managing student behaviors and student attendance. Assist Head of School, as necessary, with student supervision during non-classroom hours, serve on school committees, and assist with school activities.
JOB TITLE: SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER
Summary: The special education teacher identifies students with special education needs in relation to grade level objectives, applies a program of instruction consistent with student learning needs and curriculum objectives as outlined in the Individual Education Plan (IEP), uses appropriate teaching strategies and instructional materials, and assesses student progress. Furthermore, the special education teacher creates and manages a classroom environment consistent with student learning, following the Responsive Classroom and Cooperative Discipline models.
JOB TITLE: CLASSROOM TEACHER
Summary: The Classroom Teacher demonstrates mastery in the area of children’s development of cognitive and social skills. They implement the Common Core Standards and work collaboratively with instructional personnel to help develop an interdisciplinary curriculum that adheres to the mission, vision and values of the school.
JOB TITLE: INQUIRY COACH
Summary: The Inquiry Coach will develop and coordinate the Inquiry-Based Instructional Program with the instructional staff by: providing content knowledge, resources, and curriculum development; selecting instructional materials and providing materials support; developing and conducting professional development on CSI’s inquiry model; facilitate planning meetings with instructional and/or support staff; and engaging the faculty to continuously improve inquiry instruction. The Inquiry Coach will listen, observe, question, and offer support to help classroom teachers grow, reflect, and make effective instructional decisions related to the Inquiry Program.
